We are looking for a Senior Windows Systems Engineer to join a project within a leading company in the financial sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, security, automation, and continuous improvement of enterprise Windows environments. You will work with critical infrastructure, supporting modernization initiatives, resolving complex incidents, and helping ensure the reliability and security of business-critical systems.


Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise Windows Server environments.
  • Manage Active Directory services, including Group Policies, user and access management, security groups, and domain-related configurations.
  • Support privileged access management, remote access security, and identity-related operational processes.
  • Coordinate server patching, software deployment, security updates, and compliance activities.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and other infrastructure automation tools.
  • Apply Windows security hardening standards and contribute to vulnerability remediation.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex incidents, and support disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with Security, Network, IAM, and DevOps teams.
  • Contribute to infrastructure modernization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Windows systems administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Experience with Group Policies, DNS, remote access, and patch management.
  • Good PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Knowledge of Windows security, hardening, and access management.
  • Experience with tools such as SCCM, WSUS, CyberArk, Citrix, Ansible, or Terraform is valued but not mandatory across all areas.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in an international and collaborative environment.
  • Fluent English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Citrix or virtual desktop environments.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and automation tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring platforms.
  • Previous experience in financial services or other regulated environments.
  • Microsoft or security-related certifications.
