We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join a project in the retail sector.

We are looking for a highly experienced engineer with a strong Python background and solid knowledge of infrastructure and cloud environments. This is a Principal-level position requiring strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Terraform.

Responsabilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions using Python.
Build and maintain APIs using FastAPI.
Take technical ownership of complex solutions, contributing to architectural and engineering decisions.
Work closely with cloud infrastructure running on Microsoft Azure.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Contribute to the scalability, reliability, and performance of production systems.
Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Apply software engineering best practices and contribute to high technical standards across the project.

Requirements

12+ years of professional experience as a Python Engineer.
Extensive hands-on experience with Python.
Strong experience developing APIs with FastAPI.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and modern software architecture.
Ability to operate at Principal Engineer level, taking ownership of complex technical decisions and solutions.
Good understanding of software engineering best practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Good level of English, both written and spoken.
