Senior Software Engineer - Azure & .NET

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a project with one of our clients, a global leader in professional information solutions and software. Operating across more than 180 countries, the company develops technology-driven solutions for industries including Healthcare, Tax & Accounting, Financial & Corporate Compliance, and Legal & Regulatory.

This person will be working on the evolution and cloud transformation of established software products, contributing to both ongoing projects and new initiatives.

Responsabilities

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable cloud-based software solutions.
  • Develop business logic, APIs and database integrations using the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Contribute to the migration and evolution of applications towards cloud-native solutions.
  • Work with complex software architectures and codebases.
  • Analyse functional requirements and translate them into appropriate technical solutions.
  • Assess the technical impact of new requirements and contribute to solution design.
  • Challenge requirements and technical designs when appropriate, providing constructive recommendations.
  • Contribute to testing practices and test automation.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Architects, Product Owners and other engineering stakeholders.
  • Support and mentor less experienced engineers within the team.
  • Contribute to DevOps and continuous delivery practices.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience with C# and .NET.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience designing and developing APIs and backend services.
  • Experience with Entity Framework.
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and good engineering practices.
  • Experience with messaging technologies, particularly Azure Service Bus.
  • Ability to produce technical analyses based on functional requirements.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture and modern software development practices.
  • Experience working within Agile development teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Angular and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Bicep.
  • Knowledge of Azure Functions and other Azure cloud services.
