Klyx is software for accountancy firms, and it is now live. On 2 October 2026 we put the platform into production, together with our partner 4pointzero. A few days later, on 7 and 8 October, we showed it at the Digital Accountancy Show in London.
What is Klyx?
Klyx is a shared platform: many firms use it, and each firm works in its own workspace. Inside it, a firm keeps its clients, its team, its tasks and its projects in one place, instead of spread across spreadsheets, inboxes and separate tools.
You can see the product on the Klyx website.
What can an accountancy firm do with Klyx?
- Projects. Plan work with lists and Gantt charts, follow milestones, and start a new project from a template instead of a blank page.
- Tasks. Assign tasks and follow them against each client record, with a trail of what changed and when.
- Forms. Send branded forms for client onboarding and for gathering information. Clients can upload documents with them.
- Client overview. See a client's details, projects, deadlines and documents on one screen.
- One login. Single sign-on gives people one way in to the business applications the firm already uses.
Clients can be given secure access too, and permissions decide what each person sees. The firm stays in control of who can open what.
Who is Klyx for?
It is for accountancy firms that want one place to run their work. A small firm and a growing firm have the same daily problem: the information is everywhere, and nobody has the full picture of a client. Klyx puts the client, the tasks and the deadlines side by side, so the team can see what is due and who is doing it.
How does a firm get started?
A firm signs up for a free trial of 15 days. No credit card is needed. When it is ready, it moves to a paid subscription and adds the modules it wants, such as file management or tasks and project management. We built the sign-up, the trial and the subscription into the platform, so a firm can do all of it by itself.
What happened at the Digital Accountancy Show?
The show took place in London on 7 and 8 October 2026. We were there with 4pointzero and presented the platform to people from the accountancy world. Before the show we prepared a demo environment with test scenarios, so the team could show real work and not only slides.
We have no figures to share from the show. What we can say is that the product was ready to be shown, and that it is now in production.
How did we build it?
We started in December 2025 with prototypes and a plan, and the name Klyx was settled in early January 2026. From there we shipped the work in monthly releases.
We worked with 4pointzero on the design, the build and the testing. They know the accountancy market. We know how to build and ship a product. Both parts were needed.
Where Alongside fits
Klyx is a product we built from the first prototype to production with a partner. If you have a product like this in mind, have a look at how we do product development.
