We partnered with Stoneworx and Dijk Natural Collections to modernize the iOS sales management application their sales team depends on every day — cutting the licence costs attached to the previous version while making the tool faster to navigate, easier to sell with, and worthy of the premium brand it represents.

The challenge

Dijk Natural Collections' sales team ran on an existing iOS application for managing orders in the field. The tool worked, but it carried two growing problems. First, its licensing model meant recurring costs that scaled badly — the company was paying, continuously, for software at the core of its own sales operation. Second, the app had aged: navigation was slower than it should be, order management took more steps than it needed to, and the interface no longer matched the premium identity the brand projects everywhere else.

Replacing an internal tool that salespeople rely on daily is delicate. The new version had to be unambiguously better on day one — not a redesign the team would have to relearn and forgive.

What we built

We rebuilt the application natively in Swift, giving Dijk Natural Collections an app they own rather than one they rent. The rebuild was driven by a comprehensive UI/UX redesign:

  • Streamlined order management — the core daily workflow was reworked to reduce steps between opening the app and completing an order, because that path is the one the sales team walks dozens of times a day.
  • Intuitive navigation — the structure was flattened and clarified so reps find products, orders, and customers without detours.
  • A premium visual language — refined aesthetics that match the brand's identity, so the tool a salesperson opens in front of a customer reinforces the impression the products themselves make.

How we worked

A five-person Alongside team — project manager, UI/UX designer, iOS developer, and quality assurance — delivered the modernized application in three months. Working against a live internal tool meant QA carried real weight: the existing app defined a baseline of expected behaviour, and every workflow had to be verified against how the sales team actually operates before release. The result shipped to the App Store and into daily use.

The outcome

The rebuild removed the licence costs attached to the previous platform — a saving that recurs every year — while the redesigned workflows made the sales team measurably faster in their daily order handling. The application is now an asset the company owns and can extend, rather than a subscription it tolerates.
